Allied Health Professionals SIG
The Allied Health Professionals Special Interest Group (AHP SIG) of the Functional Neurological Disorder Society aims to strengthen the contribution of allied health professionals to the understanding, treatment and care of people with Functional Neurological Disorder (FND).
Key aims of the AHP SIG include:
- Foster international and interprofessional collaboration
- Support allied health research in FND
- Bridging the gap between research and clinical practice
- Represent allied health perspectives within the Society
- Foster mentorship, peer learning and professional development among AHPs within the FNDS
- Promote FND education and professional development across the wider AHP and clinical community
The AHP SIG committee meets quarterly. Additional meetings and educational events for the wider AHP membership are advertised through the FNDS. For further information or to discuss involvement in the SIG, please contact one of the AHP SIG co-chairs.
