Submit a Case for Presentation
Because the conference has been postponed, any submissions are now considered withdrawn. If you would like to be considered for the 2022 conference, you may re-submit your abstract when submissions open later in 2021.
- If you require special permissions or authorizations with regards to your case, they must be received prior to submission.
- Space for presentation is limited. Please do not submit a case unless you are committed to attending and presenting at the FNDS Conference.
- The presenting author must register by the Advance Registration deadline. Registration information can be found here.
About the Sessions
Two sessions of Grand Rounds will be held during the 4th International Conference on Functional Neurological Disorders. At this time, general attendees will learn from a series of unusual and/or highly illustrative patients across diagnosis and treatment and see how senior experts approach these types of challenging cases. All cases should have a known diagnosis that will be shared at the end of the presentation.
Grand Rounds: This session will take place on Sunday. Members and those interested in becoming a member are eligible to submit a case for this session. Audio or video must be included in the presentation.
Junior Grand Rounds: This session will take place on Monday. Students, trainees, and early career professionals within two years of leaving or completing training are eligible to submit a case for this session. Presenters are encouraged to include an audio or video file in the presentation. Those selected to present will be awarded with complimentary meeting registration.
Audio, Visual, and Consent
Video or audio inclusion in the presentation is highly recommended, and is required for the general Grand Rounds session. When completing the submission form, we recommend the submitter to provide their video or audio file via Dropbox.
A patient consent form must be completed and uploaded for all patients in a video or audio recording. You may use a form provided by your institution, or our sample form saved here.
Changes after submission are strongly discouraged. If critical changes need to be made to your case after submission, please send a request via email prior to the final date of submission. Changes will not be accepted after this date.
Presenting authors will be notified via e-mail of acceptance in April, 2022. If you have not received notification by May 1, 2022, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
Questions regarding the online form or about the FNDS Conference should be submitted to email@example.com.
