Submit a Case/Video for Presentation

Because the 2020 conference was postponed, any submissions were considered withdrawn. If you would like to be considered for the 2022 conference, you may re-submit.

Important Information

  • If you require special permissions or authorizations with regards to your case, they must be received prior to submission.
  • Poster presentations are encouraged to be in-person; however, posters will also be available virtually as well.
  • The presenting author must register by the Advance Registration deadline. Registration information can be found here.
  • Presenting authors will be notified via e-mail of acceptance in April 2022. If you have not received notification by May 1, 2022, please contact info@fndsociety.org.
  • Questions regarding the online form or about the FNDS Conference should be submitted to info@fndsociety.org.

About the Sessions

Two sessions of Grand Rounds will be held during the 4th International Conference on Functional Neurological Disorders. At this time, general attendees will learn from a series of unusual and/or highly illustrative patients across diagnosis and treatment and see how senior experts approach these types of challenging cases. All cases should have a known diagnosis that will be shared at the end of the presentation.

Grand Rounds: Sunday, June 19, 2022

  • Members and those interested in becoming a member are eligible to submit a case for this session.
  • Audio or video is required to be included in the presentation and be no more than 2 to 3 minutes in length.
  • The file format is MP4 and the file size is only limited by the length of time.
  • Grand Round presentations are allotted 10 minutes of presentation time (inclusive of audio and/or video) plus 5 minutes for Q&A.
  • When completing the submission form, please upload your video or audio file via the FNDS OneDrive.
  • A patient consent form must be completed and uploaded for all patients in a video or audio recording. You may use a form provided by your institution, or our sample form saved here.

Junior Grand Rounds: Monday, June 20, 2022

  • Students, trainees, and early career professionals within two years of leaving or completing training are eligible to submit a case for this session.
  • Presenters are encouraged to include an audio or video file in the presentation and be no more than 2 to 3 minutes in length.
  • The file format is MP4 and the file size is only limited by the length of time.
  • Junior Grand Round presentations are allotted 8 minutes of presentation time (inclusive of audio and/or video) plus 4 minutes for Q&A. Those selected to present will be awarded with complimentary meeting registration.
  • When completing the submission form, please upload your video or audio file via the FNDS OneDrive.
  • A patient consent form must be completed and uploaded for all patients in a video or audio recording. You may use a form provided by your institution, or our sample form saved here.

Submission Modifications

Changes after submission are strongly discouraged. If critical changes need to be made to your case after submission, please send a request via email prior to the final date of submission, March 31, 2022. Changes will not be accepted after this date.
