Hotel Accommodations

The 6th International Conference on Functional Neurological Disorder will be held at the Baltimore Marriott Waterfront, the official host hotel for this year's conference. Staying at the Baltimore Marriott Waterfront ensures convenient access to the conference, networking opportunities, and the full conference experience.

The FND Society has secured a dedicated room block at the Baltimore Marriott Waterfront for attendees at a preferred group rate. Reservations must be made by Friday, May 15, 2026, or until the block is filled.

Booking within the block not only ensures you receive the group rate but also helps support the Society by meeting our contractual commitments. We encourage all attendees to use the link below to book your hotel stay.

Flights

Attendees are assured an outstanding event in Baltimore, beginning with the ease of travel. The city's geographical location makes it an ideal and easy gateway for both national and international access. Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport (BWI) provides direct, non-stop air service to more than 90 U.S. domestic and international destinations, allowing direct connections to Europe and Asia.

  • Taxis, shuttles, and ride-share—Uber and Lyft—all serve BWI.
  • Rail: There is a train station located at the airport for travelers taking the commuter rail service (MARC) or for those who wish to take Amtrak.
  • Light Rail: Baltimore’s light rail system also services the airport and can take you on a route passing through downtown Baltimore on its way north to Hunt Valley.

Attendees may also consider flying into Washington Reagan National Airport (DCA) or Washington Dulles International Airport (IAD), both of which are around a 2-hour drive from the city of Baltimore.

Train

Baltimore has two Amtrak stations: BWI Airport Station near the airport of the same name and one downtown, Baltimore Pennsylvania Station

Baltimore’s Pennsylvania Station is a popular stop on Amtrak’s busy Northeast corridor, located less than 2 miles from the Inner Harbor, with easy travel to and from New York, NY, Philadelphia, PA, and more. You can also catch a train on the commuter rail service to Washington, D.C. Tickets are available inside the station or on self-serve kiosks.

Parking

If you're driving to the conference, there are plenty of parking options in Baltimore. Street parking may be available, but be sure to double-check nearby signs for restrictions or costs. Reserve a spot in a garage or lot ahead of time with online services like SpotHero (use code VISITBAL for 10% off for new SpotHero users).

The Baltimore Marriott Waterfront Hotel also has a parking garage available. Click here for details on nearby hotel parking garage rates.

Visa

Apply early for your travel visa, if needed: the U.S. State Department advises that an application for a temporary visa to enter the United States requires a longer processing time than in past years. The decision to grant visas belongs solely to the embassy or consulate. https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/us-visas.html

Contact info@fndsociety.org to request any of the following documents:

  • Invitation letter for a U.S. visa
  • Meeting attendance certificate (post-meeting)
  • Copy of registration receipt (a receipt was emailed automatically after completing registration)
