Founder Award
The Founder Award is a one-time award recognizing Mark Hallett, MD for his contributions over many years in creating, guiding, and sustain the Functional Neurological Disorder Society and mentoring the founders and leaders of the society. He was instrumental in founding the FND Society and strategically leading the Society successfully into the future. His significant contributions on understanding the physiology of motor control and movement disorders, influencing the fields of Clinical Neurophysiology, Neuromuscular and movement neurology, and most recently his yeoman’s efforts in Functional Neurological Disorder are deeply appreciated by countless clinicians, researchers, patients which demonstrates his impact well beyond our society leadership and members.

Mark Hallett Award
The Mark Hallett Award recognizes individuals who have gone above and beyond in their service of the FNDS, shown continued commitment to improving the lives of people with FND through research, clinical care, and/or leadership in the society have substantially contributed to the field of FND emblematic of Dr. Hallett’s life work and energy. The field's most esteemed chosen honorees will be invited to deliver the Hallett lecture at an International FND Conference. These distinguished individuals share insights from their research and discuss topics that have captivated their interest throughout their career. This platform not only celebrates their remarkable contributions but also inspires the next generation of scholars and investigators, and practitioners.
