Conference Program Committee

Through Board support, responsible for planning and managing the biennial conference. 

Responsibilities include the following:

  • Confirm site location: dates, times, in-person and hybrid
  • Engagement: create additional ways for members to become involved
  • Prepare program: topics, schedule, speakers
  • Organize abstract submissions: poster and oral presentation
  • Manage budget: registration fee, travel, food/beverage, audiovisual
  • Integrate additions into the program: sponsors, exhibitors, entertainment
  • Prepare evaluation: available during/after the conference.

Time Commitment:  One (1) to four (4) hours per month through zoom meetings
